Pontiac logo on steering wheel

Recently I have noticed all the "red" in the Pontiac logo on the steering wheel has all but vanished. Im curious if this is a replacement part or would another Pontiac emblem from another vehicle work? Shopping on Ebay I came across this one http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...%3AIT however I have no idea if its going to work?

On my '03 the sun had faded the red to pink on these emblems. I am surprised that there would be any fading on the inside emblems.

I'm not sure the center logo comes out. I would get an overlay like Bull77 said.

i want to take mine out if i could...sometimes when the sun hits it, light bounce back and hits my face. same with the chrome rings around the a/c vents lolbut yeah i would put an overlay over it. maybe if i put one on mine it won't be reflective anymore which is what i want...hmmm

That one on eBay is too big, the Vibe one is 38mm, or 1 and one half inches across, the eBay one is over 2 inches. Do not buy.Why not do what I did and put a hologram in place of the Pontiac logo?Just Google '38mm Hologram' and you get a bunch of choices.I chose the skull, because thats what I'm into. There are holograms of Inner watch workings, Unicorns, Statue of Liberty...etc.Just a dab of clear silicone adhesive and you have a neat thing.MSAGRO
