2009 VIBE ***SPEAKER HELP****

HI EVERYONEwe just an 09 vibe to replace our old 06 vibe . the sound is crap . i have the xm / mp3 head unit with the reg system . has anyone swapped speakers in this setup before ? I have tried search but I only came up with older vibes . thanks

You'd be better off starting with the HU... the speakers in my 03 don't sound half bad with a different CD player in it, and i'm a HUGE audio guy... I mean it's not phenomenal or anything but it's a big improvement.. If you want speakers, nice speakers for cheap, look at Phoenix Gold RSD components.. or Polk DB series... Alpine S series... Pioneer TS-D series.. All should be in the 100$ range..
