How do I ditch moon & tunes?

Hi. I have the moon & tunes package.I have ditched the factory tweets and have Infinity 6022si speakers all around. I want to replace the factory HU, and want to go straight from the HU to the door speakers. How do I bypass the factory AMP? Do I need to cut the ends off the connectors under the passenger seat and splice them together? Is it better just to leave the factory amp to use with a new HU? I just don't know the specs on the factory amp.On a side note, I have a mono sub that I would like to use with the factory HU right now. The AMP has an LOC with it, but I'm not sure where to hook it up at (behind the HU, under the seat?)Thanks for any information on either of these topics.
