Cold Air Intake on a 2004 Base Vibe

Post by subter »

I've got a 2004 base Vibe with the GM supercharger. I want to install the Injen CAI but every site I see selling it specifies it's for the GT model only. Will this install on a base model? Also is anyone aware of the best site to buy from? The older posts I found referred to some sites that aren't in business anymore.

I didn't get any response on my post so I found information on the Cosmo Racing CAI. I had a hell of a time installing it, I assume because the supercharger moves where the throttle body was. After hours of wiggling every which way, I was able to use the "S" boot they used when I got the supercharger to connect to the CAI. Only problem is that I wasn't able to attach it to the vibration mount because of the altered position. It seems to be staying in place good and I haven't heard any vibration noises yet. It sounds pretty sweet when you punch it though.
