Sound Dampening Material

Post by Changeis »

I would like some direction in the type of sound dampening stuff I should buy. I have never used anything before, but would like to try doing at least some of the front doors of my 05'. I just became a member, but have been reading this site for a little while. Thanks for sharing all the info people!

I'm about to try this for sound dampening http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...edded Bought it this weekend... maybe worth the trySome good thing to know I saw on youtube:Quote »I used Quick Roof on my truck 2 years ago. The only thing I'd recommend is to put some aluminum tape on each joint. It will help by not letting your carpet stick to the exposed edges of the Quick Roof. The tape will also ensure any smell will not come through. I have had no smell issues in 2 years of having it installed in the heat and humidity of AL. It's awesome!
