Vernon, BC to Whistler, BC and back (same way) via hwy 97, 1, and 99 (not through Vancouver) on one tank of gas.827.5 kms on 49.332L of gas (regular Esso 87).I drove purposely with a light foot, never letting the car get above 100km/h although on hwy 99 between Lillooet and Pemberton that's not really a problem, holding 80km/h is fun enough. On the way there and back I followed vehicles doing the speed limit except on 99 where there are rarely any vehicles.Speed limits on these hwys: Vernon to Monte Creek, 90km/h; Monte Creek to Kamloops, 100km/h; Kamloops to Savona, 90km/h; Savona to Cache Creek, 100km/h; Cache Creek to Lillooet, 80km/h; Lillooet to Pemberton, 50% 60km/h 50% 80km/h; Pemberton to Whistler, 80km/h.

Yes, I never told the wife how much gas I had left or why I was going so much slower then normal. Usually I take the freeways and drive like a bat out of hell (just like everyone else) and get close to 700 if I'm lucky!
