There isn't a timing belt on the car, but a timing chain and you are good for 300,000+ miles.

Timing Chains can stretch/wear out over time. I am not sure if I would let mine go until 300,000 miles.

A little stretch/wear in a chain is no big deal...........when a rubber belt breaks, in an interference type engine, that's disastrous. Doubt the chain will ever break.

Doubt the chain will ever break. Rear up on timing chains stretching on Honda Engines and causing the teeth to "skip." Yes, the likely hood of timing chains breaking is rare, but they do stretch. I for one would not let a timing chain go for 300,000 miles. I would change it would at 150,000 as preventative maintenance; same goes for the water pump.
