Traded in my 03 for an 09, i will miss her though..., adding tint, and HID's soon, very happy that i dont have to get Bi-Xenon again like my 03 though...
Good looking Vibe... Just do not go driving down Long Rapids or Herron road near the Airport and you will be all set. Otherwise your paint will be SOL.

Thanks everyone, i love my new 09' it feels like a much sturdier car than my 03' was, although i had a terrible dealership experience with Fox Motors in Grand Rapids which is where im going to school now, but in the end i got a very good deal, its an 09 with 12,000 miles for 15,000 OTD and hasnt been in a wreck, so i made out good.Complaints:-Still didn't address the darn option to turn off headlamps with the new model which is a drag-Paint is still thin like my 03'-Rotors were warped.Welcome additions i found were:-Retained acc of the windows which was a surprise-Placement of photo sensor (now my headlamps don't turn off every time i go in the shade like my 03 did)Future Mods:- Professional Tint this time, not "do it yourself" (Still looking for a reputable shop in GR)- HID's 6000-7000k this time, not like my 03' that had 8500, it was just too blue in the rain.
a brand new GT at the dealer where i bought mine was $20k + tax, so you definitely saved a bundle there by going used, good job!! and how you like your navy blue color?
I like that color a lot too, with my lighting mine looks blue but its actually abyss. On a different note, has anyone put HID's in the stock housing on the 09's, i know my 03 did a fairly good job with them once i aimed them down a bit.
we have the same car =D haha oh yeah i've seen an 09 vibe, i think base model, with hids in stock housing and there was some glare but surprisingly not that bad. it looked like the glare from the prius. i think it's the chrome trim around the low beam and high beam that bounce light out to the side. i have tsx projectors in mine and the light hits the high beam chrome trim and it shoots light to the side and straight up.
Ive never invested in HID's for my cars. I have always put in a set of these:They run about $70 for the set, and quite noticable difference from stock bulbs without the expense of conversion to HID.With these, you can actually see the raindrops fall in front of the car at night.
What i would give for TSX projectors, i wish an aftermarket company would build a set, we picked up a fairly inexpensive (compared to factory) projector set for our Yukon and they have held up pretty well, and before i had the HID's in the 03 i had a set of PIAA bulbs and one burned out after two weeks, probably was just a faulty bulb but i just ditched the other one anyways an upgraded
I have had these PIAA for years on my cars.I have heard horror stories about early burnouts.I guess I have been lucky. That has never happened to mine.
Those look great, but the expense of the stock headlamps, sending them out, in addition to the fabrication costs is a little to much for me, i guess ill have to look rice-y until i can afford a car with projectors
