'09 Vibe oil quanity needed for change
Would 1 gal [4 qts] of Mobil 1 be sufficient for the 1.8L? I know the capacity is about 4.5 QT but I figure about 1/2 qt is left when they drain it.

Get at least 5 quarts. Even though there is some left when it is drained, it's better to have a little bit extra (but not in the motor) when all is said and done then not having enough.

I buy the 5 litre jug and fill till the oil reads to the top dot on the dipstick. I use the leftovers of the jug on the next oil change.
