Post by ArcsVibe »

Just wanted to share this site with you:http://freeappalert.com/Basically each day they check to see which paid apps became free. Some are only for a few hours. I have found some good apps at this site and you can also follow them on Twitter.

If Verizon had the iPhone I would not have a BlackBerry Curve. Like I stated before, I did have a 3 BB Storm's in a matter of 3 weeks and had to hard reset them more than a few times due to issues. Agree Joatmon, the information from ArcsVibe is helpful to iPhone users.

Should have downloaded the new .151 software and added apps. I set mine up for a quick pull reset at 3am each day to ensure I closed out all programs.BB and iphone are for two different types of people. Sure the BB Storm 9500/9530 is less business related, but I still prefer it to the iphone. I've got tons of apps and the BB is not like a iphone where when you back out of an app you close it. It's the equivalent of minimizing a screen in windows where it is still open. Leave enough open and it slows down. sorry for the hijack, no more BB posts here.

That's awesome info. Too bad AT&T gets terrible coverage where I live, and Verizon doesn't have an iPhone.

I've had AT&T or its various previous forms (AT&T is the 4th carrier name I've had for the same account) since the early 90's when I had a bag phone with a full handset.I've never had complaints and since I've moved to NJ I've no choice of carrier, if I wish to use a cell phone at home or work, for Verizon's reception is absolute crap here. The iPhone is the greatest electronic device to hit the market in recent years bar none. Those who knock the iPhone by and large haven't ever had one or used one for an extended time period. Once you use one you won't be going back to any of the Windows based smart phones. Now IF only I could AFFORD an Apple Laptop.......hmmmmm anyone out there with an iMac that hates it and wants to let it go cheap to a good loving home???Dave

My wife and I had AT&T for years before we moved to our current location. We kept our service for 6 months before deciding that we needed better coverage in our area and canceled our AT&T contract. I wish the coverage was better here, but oh well. We get great service with Verizon, and we get huge discounts on phones and service because of our employer, plus most of our siblings and parents are on Verizon too, so we get to talk to them for free.I still want an iPhone

I have had Verizon since I was a junior/senior in high school (couldn't get a phone until I could afford one on my own, no freebies in my house). Anyways, I've always had great service in CT, even when we trip it down to Jersey Shore or OBX, or Florida, or up north more. Even in CA, got good service while out in LA and Long Beach. My friends who have AT&T typically hate the service. My friend loves his iphone, but can't stand that he gets no phone reception. In his own words, "The iphone is a great toy, but a crappy phone."

Iphone is pretty awesome. Blackberry isn't too bad though. The ATT service is alright, although it can be splotchy here and there. With the Iphone you can do so much and since so many people are creating apps for it, the new stuff for it is endless.
