It's a beautiful SUV.As far as I remember, it's the "best" SUV out there right now as rated by a couple magazines.I saw in one at the Chicago Auto Show, and I've seen a few driving around. It's awesome, and the quality is top notch. You get what you pay for when it's German Engineering - hopefully VW fixed their little "bugs" they've had previously with the VW and Audio names.(Ok, I am a little biased being a big time VW lover, but hey, it's still a cool car!)

It's what the Porsche should have been. Better looking exterior and interior, although the Porsche engine is supposed to be fantastic. Both have dumb names though.

The Touareg (VW) and Cayenne (Porsche) are what the Matrix is to the Vibe -- a joint venture between two companies, who both end up releasing near identical products. Well, except for the price tag, lol.Kudos to VW on the commercials for the Touareg. Very cool. I love when the Jetta goes up and into the snow bank and the back wheels are left spinning.VW has always had creative commercials though...

I first saw those commercials a couple of weeks ago, so I went onto VW's website to build a Toureg. Holy crap, they are expensive to buy, and probably really expensive to own (no diesel engine, premium unleaded only, and mileage nowhere near the Vibe).I thought maybe this would be the next vehicle I bought. Ya, maybe if they double my salary & don't make me come in to work (would save my hour commute each way).
