Random Question: Why do some pages not allow Go Back

It's frustrating, your on a site lookin around (NGK store for instance). And when you click back it just refreshes the same page. Sometimes I click back really fast a few times and it finally unlocks me and goes back to another screen. Sometimes I have to go to the address bar or drop down history to get out of the page.Is this some kind of gimmick they have where they don't let you go backwards?

It's because they have a redirect. Some use it as a gimmick; others use it to clear frames that may come from another site, like a news site, Facebook, Google image search, etc. when you follow an external link.
