Possible to create your own input?

Post by Badelbow »

We have a boat that came with a stereo with a 13 pin DIN connector for AUX/cd changer input. Wanting to add a mp3 input I went to the net and found this: Found in this thread: http://www.planetnautique.com/...=1696 I ended up doing exactly that and it works perfectly...for $9 bucks. Now I know that the radios are probably different manufacturers and all, but would it be possible to do something along these lines for a 05 vibe with stock radio? Anyone know the pin configuration and what not?

Thanks for the welcome!I did look through that sticky. I could only find info on AUX boxes, nothing about creating an input yourself. The AUX box stuff seem to be kinda spendy.
