Just received my Cosmo Racing Short Ram for my '04 GT

Post by maximan »

Anyone have any install advice? Im going to try for an install on Sunday. It seems like all the bolts and screws were included but there is no instructions at all. Im probably going to use K&N's install directions for the Typhoon. Hopefully they match up pretty good. I have to say that the Cosmo quality is very good. Im very happy with my $89.00 mod. Im going to attach a pic of the "pre-installed" intake.

maximan. It's pretty straight forward. Removing the stock airbox is the most time consuming part. Remove the battery to speed up the process a little. Let see the install pics once you get put on. Also this means you have to update you signature. You got bit by the modbug Oh by the way what is the tube diameter on the short ram??

Hey Rod...Just updated my sig. I'll make sure to take some pics during the install. I was figuring that the removal of the stock setup was going to be the biggest pain of it all. I dont have a ruler to measure the tube right now. I'll measure it when I do the install.

Post up how different it feels from the stock airbox and pix would definately be helpful. Im looking to get a SRI for my 05 base to get a little extra pep in its step but dont know where to put it on my priorities list.
