Roof Rack (Yakima/Thule)

Hey all, I've just purchased an '09 AWD which has the factory crossbar roof rack and I'm looking for a solution to carrying my skis in the winter and possibly two bikes during the summer months. I've tried out both the Thule and Yakima rack configuration apps but was not very pleased to see the results... $$ It seems that it doesn't matter that I have the factory rack at all because they replace it with their own tower/crossbar systems. I took a look through the Yakima accessories and they list the Mighty Mount (vertical, horizontal, and universal) as being the solution for factory rack applications. Has anyone had experience with these, if so which part numbers fit the '09 vibe rack, or do you have any other recommendations for roof racks?
