I'm looking for an 8 GA kit including RCAs. Are there any better than another. I'm sure if I bought the Monster Cable install kit that it would be killer, it would also killer my wallet. I'm trying, like most people now-a-days, to get the best bang for my buck. I'm only running an MTX 421D and a MTX TR4512-44 DVC. I know RF and Streetwires and the most common, just not sure if there are any others out there with just as good of quality and cheaper. Any advice would be appreciated!!

I'm sure someone might jump on me if this is wrong, but I was always under the impression that most wiring is pretty much the same until you get into "show quality", really flashy stuff. I'd maybe pop for a decent middle of the road kit, I'm sure it would be fine.but I could be way off base here, too

There is a difference in power wire, some company's don't always give you what you pay for! There was a power wire show down thread on a different forum but I cant seem to locate it, Maybe Sublimewind has a link. The show down showed side by side thickness comparisons, voltage comparisons, ect. I myself am partial to Stinger products, I use to love the old Rockford wire back with the White Wolf line of interconnects. Sublimewind uses the kicker wiring, and I believe it wont cost an arm and a leg so that could be an option.Pretty much just stick with the mainstream manufactures and you should be ok. Side bar: I am not to big on monster cable IMO it is more hype then anything, now I am not saying Pyramid wiring would be equal quality but I would say that you could get the same results from Stinger, Kicker, JL (although it is also an inflated cost item), ect.Aron
Vibe is gone and will be missed as I've gone country style
Friends don't let friends buy Monster... lol.. Yes, I like the Kicker amp kits, the wire is amazing.. it's so soft and supple... which makes it easy to get into tight spots.. I'd stay middle of the road in terms of price... you don't have to get the Kicker kits (though check AMazon, I got 2 8awg kits at one point for 20$ each..!!)The big thing is DON'T get a fuse holder that uses glass type fuses... anything else is fine, but the glass fuses are just asking for trouble.. KnuKoncepts is another people use a lot... and YES, to go along with AudioVibe, if you cheap out too much, your 8awg will be closer to 10awg.. lol..
I got a Rockford Fosgate wiring kit a few years ago for dirt cheap (like 5 bucks) with my Best Buy employee discount. I have been impressed with it. It has outlasted two cars. lol.

I tried out the KnuKonceptz kit that Sublime mentioned, I am VERY impressed with it!!! Tons of wire stuffed into the 8 ga. I think about 20ft of power wire, prop 3 ft of ground, at least 20ft of speaker wire and 20-25 ft of RCA w/ remote lead. All of this for $30.49 total!!! The speaker wire was 12 ga and also crammed full of wire. From my experience thus far, I would definitely recommend this brand for install kits.

That was the downfall though, they did supply an agu fuse. I just need to look into where to buy another fuse holder. I'm not sure if all of their setups use agu or not though.

Thanks Sublime!!! I looked on Crutchfield and the only 50 Amp fuses they had were the blade fuses, but they didn't have any fuse holders for them??? This is going to work perfectly!!!
