for owners of short ram air induction units (AEM, K&N, e.g.) a question!

how loud are those short ram systems over the stock air cleaner? and do they give a kick in the lower rpms? (if this has been discussed before..dont kill me, okay? i cant find it on search!!! could be doing somethin' wrong! )

If a short ram is in any way comparable to a CAI, then there is definitely a louder sound. Not excessively loud, as if you broke open the muffler and stock a beehive or whatever it's called on there. But it's louder, mainly when idling, and when you start working the engine (move up into the 5000-6000 rpm range).
YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!

Yes, it's louder and yes, it has shown a slight improvement.
