I have a metal grinding/whistling noise comming from my driver's side front wheel. The noise comes as soon as as I start driving and continues for about 10 minutes, then goes away. It also goes away when I turn the wheel any direction when driving but comes back when going straight. For some reason it does this only for the first 10 minutes of driving. Can anyone help diagnose this problem. The breaks work well and when applied it silences the noise as well. I have no idea but I don't want to take it in just yet. Thanks in advance.

Usually, turning the wheel makes the noise change when it's a hweel bearing. though.. not go away.. ?

Some days it is gone, other days it is quite annoyingly loud. I'm thinking the change (coming and going) probably has to do with the humidity levels. So would replacing the wheel hub pretty much take care of it?
