Vacation trip

Post by BrownBikePhoto »

Well I just got back from vacation yesterday. Drove 1920 miles in 36 hours and spent about 160$ on 93 octane gas. The recently charged A/C worked great. The only problem was the driver side inner fender coming loose. Most of the plastic rivets came undone about 200 miles into the trip. My tire rubbed a big hole in it. Luckily I had a knife and some zip ties to fix it. I'm thinking when I replace the fender I might put on a CAI while I'm at it. All and all the Vibe did well.

I don't really know my Mpg's. I'm guessing it was around 31-33. I went from Canton,Ohio to Nags head NC then back to Canton then to Chautauqua NY and back. It was alot of driving:) I should have some pics by the end of the week.

Yeah! HaHa. I was in the parking lot of the address I entered and it still couldn't find the place! It can only get me home every time.

Wow. Great trip. Lots of miles. Wanted to do that same trip when I lived in Northwest Montana, but my workplace got shut down and I had to move before our kids were old enough to do the trip. Now from Maine it would add at least 3 or 4 days to the drive, just one way.Might do it if I ever get to retire. It's one of the two states I haven't seen yet. The other one is that foreign county that our current President was born in. That one's so far away that you can't even drive out to see it! I don' even think that Parah Salin can see it from her house!
