Hi all....just joined the 'vibe' crew. Well....almost. I have a deposit on a 2010 1.8L auto with preferred package, Air, MP3 and cargo cover. List...$19775...after rebates, GM money, special pricing and C4C.....$11605 plus tax and tags.I say almost, because I have to drive over 200 miles to get the car. There are NO 1.8L auto vibes in the state of NJ left. I found this one in central PA. I have to take a day off from work to go pick it up....hopefully tomorrow.I plan to add a roof rack. I'm not sure if body side molding and/or pinstripes would look good. Maybe even tint the side and rear windows. Any thoughts on where to purchase roof rack?
Welcome to GenVibe! Congrats on your new vibe! It will be worth the drive to get it. A few people have added the body side moulding..it looks good to me. I'm not sure it the dealer offers a roof rack, otherwise you could try a Thule or Yakima brand. Post pics when you get a chance.

Took delivery yesterday....the car ran flawlessley. 3 hour run each way....my clunker ran great too on the way out.Roof rack and body side moldings are on my radar.....other than that, I'm just going to enjoy the car for the next few years.
Thanks for posting, I was just looking for info on this. I recently bought a used '07 Vibe for a friend. I paid $9900 before tax, etc., it has about 50K miles on it. But I got one of the regular "junk emails" from automotive mag MyRide, and it featured what they thought were good cash for clunker deals. It had the Pontiac Vibe featured, adding the $3500 rebate and another $750 incentive -- it added up to extremely cheap. In their example they used a 2010 "base" model, and the total price before tax/lic. was less than $9,000. (total discounts $4500 + 3500 + 750 = $8450, wow! ! !)I was kicking myself a little bit, but still have an idea to use the clunker to get my mom a car. She likes the Prius, but the Vibe deal may be too good to pass up.My mom is 84 years old, I think maybe the Vibe is a little small for her. On the other hand, maybe the Vibe could replace my sister's '98 Honda Civic (? ? ?). Not sure how good or bad shape that one is in, I bought it for her new in early '99.Another thing is, Toyota dealers here have taken the Prius off of eligibility for fleet purchases. I bought my last two vehicles through the Costco fleet buying plan, dealer invoice plus $500 - 700. USAA and I am sure alot of other organizations have the same thing. That would have knocked about $1200 - 1500 off invoice price of the Prius for a lower end model.Anyway just mulling this over.Thoughts anyone?
