Hello, sort of an odd question for you guys about my 97 Camry. The other night I got the "fast blink" with my right turn signal, usually an indicator that a bulb is out. No big deal, I have a friend take a look to see which one is out and it turns out to be neither. He did say that one was dimmer than the other, but both worked front and back. Next morning, early, I get the same blink. Later that day, in the afternoon, the blink is gone. This pattern repeats itself for a couple of days when it occurs to me that it's only happening when the headlights are switched on (no DRL's in this car). I experiment and that's exactly it. I get a fast blink with the lights on, everything's fine when they're off. What could be causing this? (as an aside, I also noticed that my dash lights get dimmer when I turn my headlights on, not sure if that could be related at all). Thanks for any input

Sounds like the flasher relay might on it's way out. the fast blinker usually mean a faulty flasher relay in my past experiences with other cars with the same or similar problem. The dash lights should get dimmer when the headlights are turned on..I think that is how it is in most cars.
