The RIAA is not the government, although they think they are. I think the odds of being sued are extremely rare, if not impossible. They will warn you before they sue you and if they try to sue you, they will probably lose. I wouldn't let this hoax from the RIAA change your surfing habits one little bit. The RIAA is a dinosaur, still resisting change and reality. They STILL don't offer a valid alternative to 'stealing' and the only successful alternative is the Apple company that is doing VERY well and it's not even available to Windows users yet. Download without guilt or fear. I do.

On the same note, Windows users: iTunes is coming to you before the end of the year from what I hear. You get the best Music player in the world AND the greatest way to legally buy music ... woo :D(Of course, I still download a lotof music, but for more new stuff and bands that I love, I buy it ... old stuff, I trend to download heehee. Metallica? Somehow it finds it's way on to my harddrive ... do I listen to it? Of course not, it's just there out of principle!)

They'll try, and try, and try, and try...but they will never be able to get control over the problem...Every time they shut down a service, 6 new ones start up...
