Leave it to the government to make things exciting... The last 24 hours were quite the roller coaster ride...But, tonight my Mystic Blue AWD Vibe sits next to the caddy - all tucked in and my clunker ('98 Ford Explorer) is awaiting his fate...

what CO doesn't swap tags? why couldn't they use the one from the clunker on your new ride? then no temp tag would have been used

Keithvibe - I will use the old tags - but they need to register them at the DMV... And they can't do that until they get the title info... So, temps for a couple of weeks.I hope it is fun in snow - that is why I got the AWD - the old 'xploder was great in the snow...Thanks for all the welcomes!!!

stupid state... we got my wife a temp registration for her new kia soul. plates were transfered on the same day. Your going to love the awd... if you get a good set of snow tires for it.
