Droning noise?

Funny the things you hear when you actually have the music turned down or off. Well as I was driving to work this morning, I noticed a droning that was about 3/4 to 1 sec intervals last for about the same time. This was on the interstate during a right hand curve at 80. As I straightened out of the turn, the noise was still there but not as loud. Speeds then dropped to 75 and then I couldn't really notice it any more. I initially thoguht it was just the tires, however, I was able to hear the tires and rule them out. Is there anything that I should or could look for?

I hear the same thing all the time... I think someone went to great lengths to try and eliminate it.. but couldn't.. If you get the same noise at lower speeds while turning, it's usually the sign of a wheel bearing going..

Ok, thanks for the tip. I'm try and pay attention when I'm in the city and see what happens.
