Farewell to my Vibe

Post by breezd »

Recently I've been lookin around for a new vehicle. Last Thursday I found the one I wanted and I bought it (and traded in the vibe) last Friday. I bought an 05 Infiniti FX35. It has 62k on it and is pretty much a base model. Has RWD so should be interesting in the snow... needs new tires so some Blizzaks are in line. 280HP. Only mod planned is a CAI and maybe eventually some rims. I haven't posted about it since due to work. I'm in the process of opening a new hotel (which opens today) so my life has been hectic. I'll still be on here now and then. Be on the watch for some items for sale from my Vibe... And now, my new car...

Sorry to see the Vibe go. Was there anything wrong with it? Nice Upgrade! Look forward to more pics.

Mileage was up over 114k, so that was about it. Just wanted something a bit larger and more power. Plus I was just really sick of driving stick, so automatic was a big deal (but it does have autostick and lets me redline!)Only thing that is going to be hard to get used to with the FX is that it has CVT. But I can live with it.

auto stick on a cvt? fake shift points...interesting. I've heard of it but never have I felt those...they seem pointless to add "shift points" on a non shifting tranny...that would make it slower hahah.well congrats, hopefully it works out. rwd will be a new thing but with snow tires and the TC it may work fine, also its a heavy vehicle. Wheres the pics?

I was trying to find one with the Sport Package which has the 20" rims, but stealerships just don't want to budge on price too much.As for insurance, when I called my ins co to get a quote on this truck, before buying it, i had them re-run my credit and that brought my rate down on the Vibe. So with my new truck, the premium is about 10$ cheaper than what i was paying with the Vibe before
