Hey all, I have a 2003 Vibe that is covered under the power window recall but I never got around to having the work done on it. Is it still possible to have the repairs done, especially with what is going on with GM/Pontiac right now? And for those of you that have had it done, how long does your dealer usually take to do the repair?Aside from the possibility of the windows shattering, are there any other problems with the windows that it can cause? I've noticed that both of my front windows are somewhat loose, and that the front passenger window makes a little click when it goes halfway down. It's similar to a problem that I previously had with my front driver window where it would click and the window would encounter resistance starting about halfway down, which resulted in me having to get the door check part replaced...but not as severe.I guess I was silly not to do this when I first got the notice...but any advice is appreciated! Thanks
I am 99.99% sure you can get the recall work done at any Pontiac dealer - and after they are gone, at any GM dealer.

Yes you should still be able to have it done. Recals are open for a long, long, time on cars because most have to do with safety. The recall takes about 15 monutes. Just pull the door panel off, replace two bolts, put it back together. Done!
