Infiniti FX35

Post by breezd »

What's everyone's take on these? I saw there was a couple threads dating back to 03 regarding these, but not much info on the threads...I've been thinking about trading my Vibe for one of these. I found one I like, an 04. It's got the Sport Package, which includes the 20" wheels (has brand new tires on it already) and Nav. I test drove it Monday and I really like the feel of it. Very sporty yet powerful SUV. It does have 50k miles on it. The dealer gives a free 1mo/1000mi warranty with purchase and it also does have til about Dec or Jan left of the Powertrain warranty. I'm lookin at payin about $150 more a month on car payment if I purchase this vehicle. Here's a link to the one i'm looking at... http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/...false Opinions? Experiences?

And I know what many of you will think, that is very pricey when I could buy a brand new Vibe for less than that. I love my Vibe and all, I like the new ones a little bit, but not enough that would make me want to buy one. My current Vibe is gettin up there in miles, but still has plenty of life in it. I just would like a larger vehicle, AWD, and just more features in general.

I like it, but I'm in love with the Infiniti EX35 and want that as my next vehicle. Actually the FX35 I liked before I saw the EX. I haven't driven any but I've seen both at the Nissan Inifiniti dealer when I take the Rogue in. FX seems a bit bigger than the EX... EX seems closer to the Vibe in size (although still bigger than a Vibe).

I've found that everyone who owns one, or a Murano... drives them like a total *******. I don't know why.

Looks good, but it doesn't have as much space inside like the Vibe. Thoser tires arn't cheap to replace, neither is anything else on that car, but the price is good. Who/what kind of person was the previous owner? Oil changed regularly? ect, common used car buying questions..

One common misconception is that the FX35 and the Murano are same when they are actually not. The FX is based off the G35/350z while the Murano is based on the Altima/Maxima.I ran a Carfax and it comes back clean, two owners total.
