You must have this intake which only fits 2007 - 2009 Scion TCs. Although it is the same engine as the '09 Vibe 2.4L, the engine configuration is very different, hence the fitment issues. Scion TC intake:Vibe/Matrix/XB intake:This is the one that fits the 2009 Vibe 2.4L engine. It also fits the 2008 - 2009 Scion XB and the 2009 Matrix.

Has anyone contacted K&N to tell them this fits the vibe?I just emailed them to inform them:Quote, originally posted by J TO ENVY »To whom it may concern:I just wanted to inform you that your 69 Series Typhoon cold air intake #69-8613TS (http://www.knfilters.com/search/product ... =69-8613TS) will also fit the 2009 - 2010 Pontiac Vibe 2.4L engine as it is the same engine as the 2009 - 2010 Toyota Matrix 2.4L engine. I just thought you may want to add this information to your site for anyone looking for an intake for their 2009 - 2010 Pontiac Vibe 2.4L as this is the only intake currently available for this model/engine. Thank you for your time and for your continued support of car enthusiasts.Carrie Bachman (2009 Pontiac Vibe GT 2.4L)We'll see if they respond back and/or add it to their website...

I did the same thing to sparco, harness bar from a sti fits the ms3, and they said thnx and I think would test fit it but I still havent seen it on their site. But hopefully k&n actually take the advice.
Yeah, hopefully. It's not like it's too hard for them to do a little research and see that the Matrix and Vibe engines are the same. I will keep you updated if I hear anything from them.On a bit of a side note, my K&N intake should be arriving any day now!

I actually got a response from K&N:Quote, originally posted by James Johnston @ K&N »Dear Carrie,Thank you very much for the information. However we still have to perform the testing here with our engineers before we can list it or offer a warranty when installed on that vehicle. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact our customer support department at 1-(800)-858-3333.Thank you for choosing K&N, James JohnstonTech SupportK&N Engineering IncA pretty standard response and pretty much what I was expecting. you can get this intake if you want a piece of crap... There's nothing good out right now... we have to wait for something nice to come out for the Matrix...otherwise your better off trying to fabricate some kind of cold air intake....which could cost a bit but I bet tuner shops could do it...the best intake upgrade that appears to be available are TRD or toyota drop in air filters(think they are the same?) ...I dunno if they free up air flow but, they should be washable..
Beware of K&N filters, they don't filter dirt as good as they say they do.. The oil on the filter can also cause MAF issues.. make sure you let the filter sit out in the sun for a hour or two.. You might be better off with a dry filter, of the foam variety..

It fits great, was easy to install, looks nice and sounds great when you hit the gas.I wouldn't call it a piece of crap at all. Just my $.02 though.Quote, originally posted by Sublimewind »Beware of K&N filters, they don't filter dirt as good as they say they do.. I didn't want to take any chances with the oiled K&N filter.

Quote, originally posted by Sublimewind »sweet..!Yes it is! When I step on the gas it sounds like the Vibe has an aftermarket exhaust (in a non-obnoxious way)! My mom drove it yesterday and was scared when she hit the gas because it was so loud . I'll post pictures later today, unfortunately I don't have any way to do a video, but I know another member posted one already and it's obviously the same thing so...
