What is the Exterior Paint code for

a 2009 carbon grey metallic Vibe Various dealers I've talked to keep telling me the paint colour on the 09 vibe I have is charcoal grey metallic. So which colour is it? The new car window sticker I have sent out from GM says Carbon Grey Metallic. Thanks for your help

I think there is only one "gray metallic" colour on the 09. The GM website calls it Carbon Gray Metallic. Paintscratch.com calls it Charcoal Gray Metallic. They are probably the same thing. You can find the paint code on a sticker inside your glove box. If you need to buy paint, better to use the code instead of the name.

ya,thanks,did more snooping,phoned GM, got their code, which is 70 U,and the body shop code is WA-605 R. Paint scratch has both those codes and everything comes up as charcoal grey metallic,not carbon grey metallic. I wish those morons down at GM USA would make up their minds what it is! Course what would be better is to divorce ourselves from the USA division and let GM CA do it on it's own. Seems gmca didn't have to go bankrupt and if we were on our own we'd probably still have Pontiac, because in Canada it's more popular than Chev.as far as I know. IMHO
