I figure I'll introduce myself, I'm now the proud owner of my second vibe, just took delivery of the new one yesterday, but I couldn't bring myself to get rid of "Old Reliable" so I now own two Vibes, and I couldn't be happier.Anyway, here's what I've got:Old Reliable is a 2003 Vibe Front Wheel Drive, Bright Red with the Moon & Tunes & Power Package with 5 Speed Manual transmission. Bought it new in 2003, current odometer reading of 134,000 miles. True to what I call her, I have incurred zero repairs in over 6 years of ownership. The new one (haven't thought of a name yet), is a new 2009 Vibe 2.4 Front Wheel Drive in Carbon Grey Metallic outfitted with the Preferred Package (all the power options) Sun & Sound Package, Roof Rack & 5 Speed Manual Transmission. Current odometer reading, less than 500.Well, that's my cars. As for me, I'm a young professional, I live in upstate new york, I enjoy skiing, golf, biking & hiking, fishing and most other outdoorsy type things.Anyway, there's my intro, I look forward to participating in the discussions.
Welcome and congrats! What a sweet true love story. *wipes away tears* LOL EDIT: oh I see...the sweet true love story was a distraction from the fact that you didn't post pics. Shaaaaame on you
Hello and welcome. Do you just drive them on alternate days?
1997 Civic EX sedan w/auto trans2001 Accord EX sedan w/5-spd manual2009 Vibe 2.4L w/5-spd manual, sunroof, monsoon, GT spoiler, Magnaflow muffler and rolled SS tip, lowered on H-Tech springs, window tint, debadged (save the red arrow!).
Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.I haven't decided which situations I'll drive which one, since they are equipped the same, except for the bigger motor in the new one. I do a lot of driving for work, like in the 30,000+ miles per year category, so I'll probably use Old Reliable for work, and since I run 4 studded tires in the winter on it, I'll drive it for skiing and when it's snowing, which is a lot here in the Adirondacks. I'll probably use the newer one for the long trips on the interstate.Anyway, here's a picture of both of them. I took this at the dealership the day I picked up the new one. And yes, it doesn't look it, but the red one seriously has over 130,000 miles on it, and it lived it's life in the snow belt. [img][/img]
