$4 mod - blackberry Curve phone mount

Post by HighMileVibe »

I bought one of the belt clips for my wifes Curve to use as a mount in the Vibe from eBay for $3.99 and free shipping. I planned on strapping it to the parking brake but once I received it, I tried it on the airduct - perfect. Just turned the duct to deflect up, squeezed the clip and it snapped onto the air deflector perfectly. Too perfect actually, a real pain to remove but it should not need removed too often, if ever.Just thought the penny pinchers like me would appreciate this cheap mount...

can you post a pic of the mount without the phone and how it all attaches to the vent? I have been wracking my brain to get something in that same spot and all the "vent style" clips fall right off as soon as the heat gets going.

I think I just got it. The belt clip goes on the vent. Durr!
