Vibe 2009 1.8 Question

Recently the rear wiper stopped working for my Vibe 2009 (1.8). Dealer said that there is an open circuit and they need to change the motor. I am waiting for parts. Now when I turn on my head light manually, the display for sterio and airbags goes dim. I dont know whether it is normal for Vibes. It would be great if anyone who has vibe 2009 please confim this for me. Take care

The dimming is normal. If you're driving at night (which is when you'd turn your lights on) you want the lights inside the car to be dimmer so they don't interfere with your night vision.You can control the brightness by turning (instead of pressing) the button used to reset the odometer.
