did you put on ceramic pads? I put on ceramic pads but didn't do anything with the rotors and they squeal when coming to a stop. I think I need to turn my rotors so the surface isn't so smooth.

Did you apply any squeal stop to the back of the pad? It's a paste like compound..

Does it make the noise all the time? There are some solutions here... http://my.is/forums/f89/soluti...2886/ I had the "Rotor groove noise" after putting on new EBC rotors. My solution was somewhat different than theirs though. I ever so slightly bent the backing plate away from the rotor's travel. I also did some minor grinding but to the backing plate where I saw it was rubbing - not to the rotor. Dave

I think I need to turn my rotors so the surface isn't so smooth. That might not be a bad idea... EBC pads come with a "break-in coating" on the pad surface... You can see it's just a paste with some grit in it to break away that shiny surface in the first few stops.. that helps a lot in proper bedding of the pads.. Have you ever looked at a proper bedding and seasoning procedure for brakes? There is a LOT more to it than most know and it feels a lot more extreme than it really is, while you are doing it.. (you have to smoke the brakes basically) Hit up baer brakes, and look at the tech sections... very informative and I believe in it 100%... I direct this at you as well SublimeVibe.. (I dig the name..lol) I don't remember if out cars have backing plates/shims for the pads? If so, some stop squeal between them and the pad would help... If not, I always us globs, instead of spreading it across the pad.. Heck, usually I use my Sil-Glide brake grease (which reminds me, i'm going to NAPA today, I need a new tube)

Was thinking ,could it be the wheel bearings squealing as I put pressure on the frontend as I slow down.Today they were really bad they seem to squeal even more the faster I'm going then coming to a stop I do not apply max pressure on the brakes .Man I'm going crazzzzzy with this s$#@t and I only get to use the car when the wifes at work and on weekends.
