So with the Vibe being my daily commuter I don't think about modding it too much but I do see a ton of Vibes on the road on a day to day basis. I am a member of other Michigan based car specific clubs but it seems to be pretty normal for Michigan clubs to not meet up too regularly. So I was wondering if there was anything planned for the spring summer 09 with the Michigan Vibe folks or is it mostly every person for themselves?

Unfortunately the last few Michigan meets were a bust. Very little interest. However, there are some newer members now in Michigan, and if they show interest, perhaps a spring meet could be organized. Chances are that it would be open to more than just Vibes, but they we would still be the focus.
There is interest, but my hands are tied until May. There was one member who was talking about hitting a brewery here near Utica and I am up for that. I am always up for a good brew.

yeah MN meets were the same, we'd get 3-5 vibe owners, but I would invite matrix's, celica's and corollas too. Any 1/2zz engine pretty much, get a better turn out, well for 1 meet we did. good luck though! now that theres more 09's it there should be some new interest.
We talked before about hooking up at Sherwood Brewery in Shelby Twp (45689 Hayes Road, just North of M-59/Hall Rd) sometime. The consensus seemed to be Thursday evenings or weekends were the best time to meet. Is this still true? Anyone up for meeting this Saturday? Name the time & I’ll be there!
The first Michigan meet at Joseph's Pontiac (maybe it was the second - I don't remember) ) was a great meet, with something over twenty or thirty Vibes showing up. Pontiac even sent one or more of their factory engineers with a couple of extensively customized Vibes. Some of us got rides in one that was supercharged. That was a fun day. There are - or at least used to be - lots of photos on this site about that meet. The number of those who attended decreased over the years and the meets stopped. If you see a red 2003 Vibe in Swartz Creek with GenVibe.com stickers on the little rear windows, that's me.
I am sure I have run past you at some point (considering red vibes aren't too abundant) but I don't get into the SC downtown area to frequently. I am just outside of Rankin and I drive down 23 everyday passing by Joseph Pontiac. I used to keep my boat on Silver Lake right there as well.If you are ever driving down Linden Rd just north of Grand Blanc road look on the East side for the ol' vibe and give a honk. I will probably be outside in the yard working more frequently cleaning things up on the weekends soon so keep an eye out.

I drive down Linden Road headed for the town of Linden about once a year. If I see your white Vibe, I'll stop by.You'll detail my Vibe while I'm there, right?
I barely have the time to clean and detail my own cars let alone someone else's?

Im diff interested in a meet. I just got vibe in the winter and would like to meet some people that enjoy the car as much as i do. I work at AL Serra in Grand Blanc we might be able to meet up there on a sunday or something
Say high to Robie "the Hammer" Robinson for me while you are at work.He has basically taken care of my family for new car sales since he started working there. I know it has been over 10 years now. I drive through the used lot more frequently than I should on the corner of Hill and Saginaw. Which building do you work out of?

There is a big car show this sat 10-6 in flushing. It in river view park downtown flushing. everything is welcome as long as you don't be stupid. I figured it was a good time and place for a meet. even though I know its short notice and with the holiday. If you do know where flushing is. its just west of flint between I-75 and I-69. take I-75 to exit 122 pierson RD west. flushing is 5 miles west. once you get to downtown flushing, the first street light turn left and that will dead end at the park.i wont be there till after 3 (damn work) but i hope to see some of ya there
