I don't know about you guys and gals but I feel with my Vibe that I am driving a car that should cost way more than it does. The build quality of this car is awesome. I see many Nissan and GM vehicles come through my shop each day and for the dollar there is nothing that comes close. I have had my Vibe for a little over a week now and I am in absolute love with this car. I find myself going out at night and just sitting in it with the stereo on. I have always loved Pontiacs red instrumentation. This car puts a smile on my face everytime I look at it. Anyone else?
I think it's priced just right...a little less might be nice, but it certainly is in the ballpark! I think the pricing is what makes it so appealing to so many!
YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!
Oh don't get me wrong. I am definately not complaning about price. I just feel like you get an awfully lot of car for the money. Not like thats a bad thing.
I think it was about priced right as well. Also remember the things that we are missing probably due to cost cutting:Lighted Vanity mirrors for driver, foldable side mirrors, unlit window/lock controls, "thin" paint, no engine compartment light, no glovebox light, no rear "trunk" light, no discs on rear brakes for base/awd models, etc etc...Little things to save money add up quickly. Heck, I'm actually looking into buying some of the upper level trim options for my Base that you could only find on the Matrix XRS and Vibe GT It was money well spent, but priced perfectly for the package.
Allow me to add this:I also find myself just going for a drive because I love this car so much. I wouldn't trade my Vibe in for just about anything I My Vibe
Also make sure your interior light gauge is not set to "off."Someone else couldn't get it to work, and they accidentally had their interior light switch to "off."

Nah...I think its pretty reasonable! I was going to buy at VW beetle, and need less to say my car payments would have been a “little†higher! The best part I got a GM discount, can't beat that!
‘03 Vibe with 317k and still going.............................
I think the price is pretty good. You get a lot of car for your money. Definately a great buy!And...are you crazy! I don't want anything to be more expensive than it is, especially when you are getting something that is really nice. That's why there's eBay!
***SOLD***2003 Vibe GT Monotone Neptune - Inaugural October 2004 Vibe of the Month***SOLD***
Now the proud owner of Titanium Silver 2012 Kia Optima SX
This car is coming in very handy with storage space and it is fun to drive as well. My biggest complaint being a freak about a clean and well taken care of car is that damn thin, cheap paintjob they put on these cars. In a couple years all of our front ends are going to be primer. Other than that everything is great with the car.!!!@
03, Abyss monotone GT, 6 disk changer, moon and tunes, Cargo mat/nets, power package, side airbags, AEM Short Ram Intake, Borla exhaust , 35% tint all around, F1 strut tower brace, debadged, 17" Excel rims w/ federal ss595 tires.
Oh yeah! Definately a big fun factor. Like I said before... I just think you are getting so much car at a price that really nothing can even come close to in the bang for the buck category.
You're kidding right?Like ragingfish said it is in the ballpark but considering some of the cost cutting moves they did like the thin paint and making the mat for the back extra cost it should have been priced less. If I remember right the Matrix IS priced less comparably equipped. If not for the GM Supplier Discount and nice rebate that was available to me I'd be driving something else. Don't get me wrong I like my Vibe but the price point seems just a touch high for what you get.
