Hey I got a fitted cover for my vibe awhile ago Here's some pics of it for anybody wondering how the fit looks.. I'll try to make this a review as well..here's the cover, its a californiacarcover they have a website. This kind is called NOAH. Its got a layer of plastic between the other layers that keep the car dry when in rains. The outer layer gets saturated. The material and construction of this thing is pretty high quality.it fits good but not perfect..The guy on the phone said these covers were meant to fit the 2008 and older models but would work for an 09. I sorta wondered if it would fit better on a 03/08 vibe. This cover was also made to fit a car without roof rack. They make one with more space for the rack. The cover comes with a plastic grommet for the antenna. You gotta cut a hole in the cover to put it in.. It was easy to do. You also have two grommets at the bottom for tying a string across to hold it on. I found wind could take the cover off if I didn't bother tying it.I wasnt crazy about this big californiacarcover logo on the front with a 1-800 number..It would have been cool had they left that off. Supposedly these covers are made to order so Id try to ask them not to put the logo on there...You can get an option for custom embroidery as well. You can get a bag to put your cover in for ten or fifteen bucks extra. The quality of the bag isn't anything special though. They should really just give you this for buying the cover. Well there's a fitted cover for your vibe. I got mine because have to leave my car unattended in a parking lot for two weeks by a shipyard. They spray paint tugboats in there and I was worried about stuff blowing over and getting on my car, so to me this justified the expense (they're kinda expensive). I also like knowing the vibe is being kept out of direct sunlight for all that time. All I gotta do now is call them them up and tell them to stop sending me magazines. Hope you found this useful.. Thanks for reading.
Looks like a pretty good fit. A cover like that would really be helpful if you normally parked around a lot trees, keep sap and random tree and bird droppings off the paint.
ohhh I wouldn't want to have to rely on this to protect from snow.. theres always a situation where your going to get ice and the cover could become frozen on. If you tried to remove the cover while it was frozen it could take the paint off... The best to protect from snow is just to dust it off with a broom or keep your car in a garage or car canopy..
Be careful when using a cover outdoors. If dirt or sand get under the cover, the wind will blow the cover around and leave your car pretty scratched up. I think a cover is great indoors for keeping dust off, but a daily driver and a car cover can spell problems. Be sure your car is very clean efore you put the cover on and try to set it somewhere that is shielded from the wind if possible.

Car covers are a double edged sword. Watch out for scratch damage. Keep the car clean and waxed. Also make sure that you shake out any debris from the underside of the cover before you put it on. The cover does help keep interiors from fading, rubber trim from weathering and also protects the paint from any industrial/chemical fallout that tends to ruin car finishes. Spray paint usually dries by the time it lands on something a ways away. It will look like dust, and can be washed off the car. Your car would have to be fairly close to the spay gun to get painted. How far away are you parking from the point that paint is being sprayed?

I don't use the cover all the time but when I do it keeps it a lot cleaner. Thanks for the tips though.. I really didn't factor scratch damage too much as a result from using the cover.
