auxilary wire thing

i want to use my little mp3 player in my car, does anyone know where i can go to buy one of those wires? and what exactly is it called? i'm guessing one connects to the earphone jack on the mp3 player and the other end goes into the car's aux jack. i've seen ones for ipods but i'm trying to find one for a regular mp3 player. tks
