Fuel Preasure Regulator

Post by robertinsandiego »

Hey guys, was wondering if you can help me. I got a new FPR, and need to know where the old one is on the car? Inside the tank? I have a 2006 base vibe. Wondering if I can do this or should I just eat it and take it in? thanks.Rob

I'm not sure about the Vibe but they are almost always on the fuel injector rail where the fuel line connects. Why did you buy a new one? They usually last forever.

If you did not find out already, I believe it is in the tank. You can take out bolts on back seat inside the car and lift up back seat. There is an access panel there. Open the panel and the whole assembly is there. I could never get the white housing off of mine though. I think I need to replace my regulator also, but was trying to get the old one out before I bought the new one. If you get that white housing off, I'd be happy to know how you did. Good luck.
