2003 Vibe.... roof rack

Does anyone know if it is possible to remove the roof rack off of a 2003 vibe? I see many vibes without them, but none of that year. Please advise.

Several member have removed the the cross bars. And a few have removed the whole thing and replaced the front to back bars with filler caps.The search feature should yield some help!

If you don't want the roof rack just buy a '09.
