Sorry this is a little off topic of this thread, but I wanted to respond to Vibe Rater's question, as I think it is important for the powers at be in Canada to get with the program and offer the same discounts to all North American GM employees. My father works for Delphi at the Kokomo, Indianaplant, so I qualify for the GM Employee discount. Iordered my Vibe as I wanted a base model with ABS. Ipaid $17,024 USD total for my Vibe, so that includedthe ABS, rear cargo nets, Moons and Tunes, Power, andMonotone Packages. I think the dealer invoice at thetime I ordered my Vibe was $14,542 (withoutdestination charge), but under the GMS program, I paid$14,787.70. These prices have increased as of Oct. 4,but I am not sure what the new numbers are. Here isthe breakdown of the total price I paid, and forcomparison the MSRP (in USD): GMS Price MSRP Base 14,787.70 16,340.00Monotone 279.50 325.00M/Tunes 430.00 500.00PWR pack 516.00 600.00cargo nets 21.50 25.00ABS 430.00 500.00Dest. ch. 560.00 560.00TOTAL 17,024.70 18,850.00 So, my total price reflects the 10% GM savings. The0% for 60 months with no payment for 90 days is thecurrent incentive package in the US that ended today(Oct. 31). GM frequently announces last minute dealsfor GM employees before an incentive period ends, sothat is why I had the additional $250. You can referto this website to find the list of current GMincentives for US employees:
