W/S Wipers come on by themselves

I have a 2004 Vibe and the w/s wipers come on without activating the wiper stalk. After moving the stalk up and down about 100 times they will turn off but at the next bump in the road they come on. I'm thinking that the switch may be faulty but it is almost like there is a short elsewhere. Anybody else had this problem? Thanks .....

short in the switch or the relay. I would probably throw this in either electrical or problems/warranty issues btw. Could get more responses there.
