actuator replacement

Post by pmw061299 »

Does anyone know how to replace the actuator for a 05 vibe? There is a knocking noise from behind the glove box and i know this is what needs to be done.

Here's how I did it. I took my '03 Vibe with 33,000 miles to the dealer and paid about $200 parts and labor. Then bought a '09 Vibe and sold that '03 Vibe a couple months later.

PMW, there is a good write up on here about a year ago that I used to get to mine. I was able to remove the glove box door and I pulled the radio and was able to reach all the bolts without removing the entire upper dash. Its not that hard to do at all. Search my posts and Im sure you will find something. Id give you more info now but im currently doing brakes and an oil chance on my gf's Vibe!
