need your opinion

Post by lowincash »

hi all, just wanted to get some opinions. i purchased the weathertech window visors for my vibe a few months back and i loved it. however, both the rear ones don't seem to stick on well and has a slight gap. the other day i was tugging on one of the rear ones and it came off while all the windows were up too lol and stupid me i left it on the ground and my neighbor's car ran over it and cracked well anyways, i'm thinking of just leaving the front ones on. don't feel like buying the rear ones again. do you guys/gals think it looks weird with just the front? i sort of like it but i have mixed feelings tho lolhere's a few pics of how they look with just the fronts on

lol yeah at first it did felt half naked haha i thought of removing the fronts but i love having them on. not sure if it's the design of the car but with front windows down or even slightly lowered the wind rushing in is quite strong and noisy. with the fronts on i can drive with windows down without all the wind hitting my face.

I think I'm going to agree with Brian. If you didn't have tint, then I'd have to agree with hskater26

to be honest it took me a bit to notice what you were talking about. i don't think it looks bad. but then again pictures aren't the best representation of real life.

the tint def helps it blend in. the first pic it sorta just looks like a reflection off the build unless you know what you are looking for.I'm going to agree with BC & HPL

But...if you're (removed) like me, you'll eventually crack and replace the rear visors Where did you get these, and about how much did they set you back?

i'm probably just going to leave them alone. i don't feel like spending anymore money right now...saving up and eventualy have them lowered a bit.i bought these at weathertech.com and they go for $95 for the set. they have light and dark ones too. i originally wanted dark tinted ones but when i bought them they didn't have yet. they only had the light ones so i got those instead.

i would just leave it like it is. looks good and very suttle, unles you know what you are looking for. def. the tint helps blend them in.

its weird how it works. once you start adding things and leave them on for a while it looks natural, but once you take something off it looks "naked".

Good choice. Looks OK with just the fronts on and nearly invisible with the window tint. Not sure I would like the rears on. I'm considering doing what you have with the visors, too.

yeah i'm not too fond of the rear ones either. due to the shape of the rear windows, when you crack the rear windows open there's a gap where it's not covered so i always leave them closed anyways. i could have saved myself like 40 bucks if i didn't buy the rear ones in the first place haha
