Post by lowincash »

well i just got my refund check today and got bit by the mod bug. i saving the majority of it and thinking of spending about $300'ish. i originally placed an order for the beep beep module but i cancelled it. i was thinking of getting a pioneer indash navi but i'll probably do that after i finish paying off the car. any idea what kind of stuffs i can do with $300? this is like one of the first time i have money to spend but don't know what to spend it on lol

If you don't know what to do with it, I do, I do! I will put it to very good use, I promise: I need an Energy Star dishwasher! and you will be my BFF...LOL every time I load and unload the dishwasher, I'll say out loud, "thank you BFF lowincash!" Heck, I'll even have that tattooed on me somewhere if there's any money left over from buying the dishwasher!

I suggest a contribution of a significant portion of it to the local food bank or homeless shelter. It will make you feel very good./s/ compashionate conservative

Buy some paint! paint the calipers, dash parts, engine cover and caps & covers. Shorty antenna. Genvibe stickers, Yellow fog overlays. Magnaflow are pretty good across the whole powerband. Lots of things, doesn't have to be one big one.

Buy stock in General Electric. It is at a rediculous price right now. With the money you make, you can make even more donations to your local charity as jake75 pointed out

That $300 could easily be $18K-$20K at retirement. You need to adjust your withholding........Uncle Sam is using YOUR money interest free.

If there is nothing you really want, don't buy anything now. Put the money in the bank, then when you find something you do want, you will have the funds to buy it.Anticipation often provides as much or more pleasure than the actual owning of something.
