Yep, I'm pretty excited that things seem to be mostly working. It'll probably take me a while to figure out what's the deal with that "OK" at the bottom of the page, but at least it looks like a lot of the pieces are working correctly.... so many little details to take care of! Looks like avatars aren't working right, and there's that giant "OK" at the bottom of the page. Thanks all for your patience.

OF COURSE my G.V. addiction returned on March 11th! The numbers 3 and 11 just keep on bringing me good luck! Rockin' the 311 on my Monsoon system, of course.During the site's down time, I applied non-reflective white GrafxWerks overlays on my '06 Abyss, tearing the steering wheel one (d'oh!). I also received my new cabin air filters and installed a shorty antenna I bought on eBay. I had to get my fix some how!

O.K. My prediction. There will be a spike in newborns among GenVibe members in early December.

I'm so happy we're back online!Life without GV was so sad. Fortunately I did survive, despite my Vibe dying on me in mid acceleration up a hill.I'm not entirely sure what caused it, just suspect ice in the fuel. Seems fine nowOh yeah, I'm seeing the following error at the bottom of my screen:OKThe server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@genvibe.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.More information about this error may be available in the server error log.Apache/2.2.3 (Red Hat) Server at forums.genvibe.com Port 80

I don't post here much anymore, but I sure did miss GenVibe when it wasn't around. Thanks, Mike for what must've been an totally frustrating experience with Dell support. Thanks for going way above-and-beyond-the-call to get things pieced back together again.Sometime when things calm down (if ever), I'd like to hear 'the rest of the story' about what happened!
My 2003 Vibe Base Auto 2-tone Salsa "SalsaWagon" was built in May 2002. I acquired it in Feb 2004/Traded it in on a 2016 Honda HR-V in Feb 2018.

I never make big ticket impulse purchases, but I blame it on temporary insanity caused by frustration of my GV withdrawals.
Hi everyone, Nice to see things are going ok... I gotta ask though, are we on Dell servers now, like the front page bullitin outlined? I hope not, i've recently had my Dell laptop HDD fail on me, less than 1yr old... You got bad parts out of the box.... TWICE.... Dell = SUCK
I am guessing that when the government next reports productivity for the nation, there will be a slight increase from GV members actually doing work. The hard work was appreciated!
Quote, originally posted by ColonelPanic »Thanks for all your work at keeping the site up! It is certainly appreciated. I'm sure this hasn't been much fun for you. Yes, and I was starting to wonder if this was a GM conspiracy trying to keep us quiet.
