Factory subwoofer?

Post by Vibe2009 »

I didn't opt for the Monsoon audio system and now regret it...Is there a way to add it on my 2009 vibe? My factory head unit do have XM and mp3 playback...What are the component I need to get it to work like factory install?Anyone attempt this yet?

I would highly recommend going with an aftermarket sub/amp/sub box. Way cheaper than the factory components & will sound a lot better too. Most aftermarket amps (clarion, jbl, pioneer) have both high level (speaker in) & low level (rca in)inputs, so you could just tap into the rear speakers & run wires back to the amp.or you could go with the factory panel/box & go aftermarket with the sub & amp, to retain the stock look
