without a doubt...do it. You won't be sorry. It not only looks great but it will help protect the interior from solar damage or fading. the cost for mine was $245 for 35% front side windows and 30% all rear windows. There is no problem with driving at night at all, as a matter of fact it helps reduce the glare at night. Make sure to use a good tint shop that will adhere to local laws and use top quality tint films. You will get what you pay for.

NJ has strict regulations on tinting...not sure what they are...but definitely find them out before you do it. Otherwise, you might spend lots of money on something you'll be forced to remove down the road...But if you can, definitely go for it. I'd like to as well at some point...
YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!
quote:Definately do it. I have 35% on the front windows and 5% on the rears. It looks really awesome. Take a look. You must drive the car backwards Does look good
Just had mine done today actually. Went with 15% rear door/quarter window and 35% back window (cannot do front doors due to laws... grrr.. ) Ran me just under $200 CDN with lifetime warranty. Looks great, adds a touch of privacy, especially if you got stuff loaded up in back. Should help with the heat too...Go for it!
I got 20% all the way around too and it looks great!! By the way, where is everyone getting these Genvibe.com decals at? I'd like to get a couple. Anyone know where I could get them?

Tint! You should check out the different shadings of tints to see which works best for your vehicle though. Obviously, the darker non-metalic probably works best on the Abyss and I'm thinking I saw some tinting that faded from a metalic "color", like red, blue and yellow, into a normal tint. That might look cool on the Neptune, Salsa or Lava. I got my appointment to get mine done within the next month or so. Going to try to go 20-35% on the back then maybe a light 50% up front (even though front tinting is illegal in Illinois). I was quoted a price of $219 and it's by a lady who is highly recommended by several independent parts places in town. If anyone is near East Central Illinois or West Central Indiana, let me know and I'll give you her number.Dave
Go for the tint, it not only looks better IMO, but it will also protect the interior from fading out. Here is a pic of my Vibe with windows tinted at 20%, see what you think.
