Part Number for Cargo Tie Downs

Post by ragingfish »

Ok, I think I may have asked once before, and was not able to get an answer.Does anyone here happen to have access to part numbers for the cargo tie down pieces that go in the tracks? I need mainly the retainer and the tap plate (the plastic holder and the metal plate that the loop screws into). Can anyone help? Two of mine disappeared mysteriously...

Are they listed in your part identifier? http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id ... stid=49292

That's a negative chief. Doesn't cover any parts in the cargo area for some reason...

You must be using them. Mine are still in the original factory plastic bag. Are they useful?

Actually, I haven't used them but once...since I got the mat, nothing has needed to be tied down...but I used to leave everything, the retainers and metal plates, in the tracks, and just remove the screw loops...but then mysteriously they disappeared

I just got a set the dealer ordered for me since my Vibe was missing them when I bought it. I will look when I get home and see if there is a part number listed...I am thinking there is but will check to be sure.

I could really use some of those adjustable tie-down anchors. I bought my 2003 Vibe used, and it didn't come with any. Was it supposed to?Has anyone ever discovered a part number for them in the almost year and a half since this thread was last active? Or does anyone have any that they don't need/want? I'd buy them off you for a reasonable price.

That's a good point... I'll have to check thoroughly back there. After all, I did discover that I had a cargo cover when I thought I didn't!

Ah, yes... it's amazing what you can find when you actually look. I've got two whole bags of tie-downs. My Vibe is a GM certified used car, so it ought to have everything.
