Replacing interior silver trim?

Post by fennrysha »

Does anyone know if there exists replacement trim for all that silver and chome trim inside the Vibe?I've discovered that on bright, sunny days, I can be effectively blinded by reflections off the chrome trim and the brished silver stuff causes quite a bit of glare up off the windshield.Thanks.

in the words of my good friend:"oooh....shiny things!!!!"as to tinting, which someone mentioned, not all states permit tinting. I believe it is illegal in NJ to tint windows unless you're a livery or limo vehicle.

I love the chrome accents inside. Looks really good. It's not overdone at all.

The gauge chrome comes right off if you pull the cluster cover and come at it from the back. That's the first thing I did to my Matrix when I bought it. As far as the gray/silver plastic (like the radio bezel), I've never had reflection problems from it.Today I just had my chrome door handles (standard on the Matrix, and too shiny for my taste) swapped with some black door handles (standard on the Vibe, and too dull for Triton's taste).
