I had about 7 inches in the drive this morning mixed snow and Ice, and they are calling for 1-3 more this morning. Was way more impressed with the AWD Vibe than I thought I would be. Rolled out of it like a little tank.

Love winter. Love snow... but totally hate ice storms. A big one in 1998 brought our area back to the stone age for a month. Absolutely no fun, without power that long in Winter. Huge mess.Hope the ice melts quickly for all in that part of this current storm.

I love the snow and ice. It is my favorite time of year: I get to see STUPID SUVs flipped over lying in a ditch, and the only time I get to feel a sense of revenge against bozos driving up the cost of gas. Amazing, my parents had 5 boys, and we didn't have anything more than a plymouth station wagon to get us around. Die SUVs, die!

More than enough winter here in central Ohio already. First it was snow, then ice, then a lot more snow. Lost power for 1.5 hours early this a.m. Glad it came back on in time to make my morning coffee. Many are still without power here.Spent 1.5 hrs slowly clearing my driveway after it quit snowing this afternoon. Didn't put my heart in any danger but I know I will be sore tomorrow.Another 1-2" expected Friday - and perhaps another major snow next Tuesday. Need to refresh the beer-milk-eggs-bananas-bread supply so I can ride out that one.

14inchs here today. Got the vibe stuck on a hilly ( Unplowed) street. First time since I got it. Had to back back down the hill.

Didn't really get out in the light to take many pics but here was outside the office on the way out..It's been an interesting couple of days for the commute... snow covered roads yesterday morning, freezing rain and ponding water last night/this morning, more snow fell today.... Roads are in pretty decent shape at the moment except some side streets are a little slushly. Trees down everywhere, lots of power outages. I just read something like 890,000 without power in a number of states. I plan on getting out and taking some pics of this stuff tomorrow... Pretty, but miserable.

Hey Colonel where are you at in the State? Morgan County someplace? We just end up with about 12.5" of mostly snow just south of Indy. No real Ice around here.
